Mains Pressure Hot Water Service

We were tending to a leaking kitchen sink mixer tap this week in North Balwyn and the customer asked what mains pressure gas hot water unit we preferred. They already had an older type vitreous enamel cylinder unit at the side of their home that wasn’t quite supplying enough hot water for the whole family in high demand. The old mains pressure gas hot water unit was certainly showing its age. It was a typical mains pressure hot water installation at the side of the home with adequate gas supply to support an installation of an Aquamax 390
The perfect fit for the family home with high demand for hot water and “our” favourite is the Aquamax 390 litre hot water service. The largest volume domestic storage water heater available. Aquamax 390 has a massive 390 litres available in the first hour. And with an additional 185 litres per hour recovery, your unlikely to ever run out of hot water. Complete with a ten year cylinder warranty these stainless steel units out perform any domestic storage or continuous flow hot water systems on the market.
Constructed from high grade stainless steel, the Aquamax stainless steel cylinder will resist corrosion for a substantially longer period than conventional vitreous enamel and bonded ceramic cylinders as well as copper heat exchangers used in continuous flow units.
While the tank holds 155 litres, the stainless steel cylinder can store water at a much higher temperature than a vitreous enamel tank. The mixing valve {control A} adds a controlled mix of cold water at the units hot water outlet giving 205 litres or more hot water delivery in the initial draw, at 60C or at the setting you choose when control B is set at 4.5 or higher.
